About the practice

One-on-one care since 2004 — built to keep the patient at the center of the hour.

Why one-on-one still matters

If you have ever had physical therapy before, you might know that managed care dominates the US healthcare system. Shrinking provider reimbursements have caused physical therapists to treat two to three people simultaneously in order to stay afloat.

Since inception in 2004, Peterson Physical Therapy has been seeing people one-on-one, and has continued to do so through 2 major expansions of the business (2010 and 2016). It is our belief that this model of care, adopted from the days of the family doctor doing house calls, is the best way to achieve success. It eliminates frustration on the part of the patient, minimizes a therapist’s distractions, and fosters a healing environment in which the patient is all-important.

Easy and convenient

In addition to home care, the Amagansett practice is now in the fully renovated former Capital One Bank building, one door east of Bayberry Nursery on Montauk Hwy in Amagansett. Services at the office and in the home are, as always, one-on-one. The location also provides hassle-free parking and easy access off Montauk Hwy.
